館費と光熱水費

1.TIEC charges you rent and utility fee from the first day of your designated residence period, not from the actual move-in date.

館費と光熱水費は入居した日からではなく入居許可を受けた初日から発生します。

2. If rent and utility fee remains unpaid for more than three months, you have to vacate TIEC.

館費と光熱水費が3か月以上未払いの場合は、TIECから退去していただくことになります。

3.You may choose to pay via bank debit or in cash. For bank debit, you must have a Japanese bank account and complete an application form at the Administration office. Either way, the payment will be processed on the 6th of each month or the next business day if the 6th falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or national holiday.

館費及び光熱水費につきましては、銀行口座からの自動引き落としまたは現金でのお支払いを選択することができます。自動口座引き落としをご希望の場合、日本の銀行口座が必要となり、管理センターで申し込みをする必要があります。いずれの方法でも、支払日は 請求書が届いた翌月６日で、６日が土日祝日の場合は次の営業日に引き落とされます。

4.Please note that it will take at least two months from submission for payments to be deducted from your account. During this period, we will continue to send payment invoices to you.

自動口座引き落としが有効となるまでに申込みから少なくとも2か月ほどお時間をいただきますことをご了承ください。その間、引き続き請求書を郵送いたしますのでコンビニにてお支払いをお願いします。

The post card invoice is to be posted in your postal mailbox by the end of each month. Please do not miss the due date, which is the 6th of the following month. 

請求書が月末までに郵送されます。支払い期限は翌月6日ですのでお早めにお支払いください。

自動口座引落し申込書

Once your application form is successfully processed with your bank, rent and utility costs will be automatically withdrawn from your bank account with bank transfer fee of 110 yen added.

The payment will be processed on the 6th of each month or the next business day if the 6th falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or national holiday.


銀行での処理が完了すると館費と光熱水費は自動的に口座から引き落とされるようになります。

手数料は１１０円かかります。

引き落とし日は翌月６日で、６日が土日祝日の場合は次の営業日に引き落されます。

Payment details below is to be posted in your postal mailbox by the end of each months. Please deposit the amount that is deducted from your bank account before the due date of the 6th of the following month.

請求明細書が月末までに郵送されます。引き落とし日までに請求明細書の金額を口座に入金しておいてください。

自動口座引落しの申込みに際しての注意事項

If you would like to apply for automatic bank debit from a Japanese bank to pay your rent, please confirm the following points before applying.

Note that people come to Japan for the first time and wish to apply for automatic withdrawal, please open a bank account first.

館費と光熱水費の自動口座引落を申し込みされる際には下記の点をご確認下さい。

また、初めて来日される方で自動口座引落をご希望の方は、海外銀行口座は使用することができませので、まず日本国内の銀行にて口座を開設していただきますようお願いします。

JP Post Bank　ゆうちょ銀行

Please confirm whether you have registered either your seal or signature in person at the post office. If you have not done yet or are unsure, please visit the post office and complete the registration.
口座開設時に印鑑もしくは署名の登録を行っているかを確認してください。ご不明の場合は、郵便局のゆうちょ銀行窓口でご確認をお願いします。

For those who have already registered, please bring your bank book or cash card and the seal to the reception of the Administration Office to fill out the required account information on the application form.

印鑑の登録の確認ができましたら、通帳またはキャッシュカードなど口座番号がわかるものを持参のうえ、管理センター窓口で自動口座引き落とし申込書に必要事項をご記入し提出していただきます。

SMBC / Mitsubishi UFJ　三井住友銀行　三菱UFJ銀行

For those opened your online bank account without a seal, you need to put a seal optionally on the automatic withdrawal application foam. After the submission of the  foam, the confirmation email will be sent to you by the bank.

オンライン口座で印鑑レス口座を開設された場合、申込書の提出印欄には任意の印鑑を押印してください。提出後、銀行から申込内容の確認メールが送信されます。


For those who opened the account physically at a bank wicket, bring the seal, things to prove your bank account number such as bank book or cash card to the Administration Office, then fill the information on the automatic withdrawal application foam.

銀行窓口にて口座を開設された場合は、開設時に登録した印鑑と通帳またはキャッシュカードなど口座番号がわかるものを持参のうえ、管理センターの窓口にて自動口座引き落とし申込書に必要事項を記入していただきます。

Online banking such as Rakuten bank　楽天銀行などのネット銀行

You can apply for automatic withdrawal with an online banking account. Bring the bank account information to the Administration Office. You need to put a seal optionally on the automatic withdrawal application foam.

ネット銀行の口座でも申し込みは可能です。口座番号がわかるものをご持参のうえ管理センター窓口までお越しください。申込書の提出印欄には任意の印鑑を押印してください。

💡 For example, August 6, includes:

 → July rent + utilities used in June

例：8月6日の請求内訳は「7月の館費」と「6月の光熱水費」となります。


How utility charges are calculated
  光熱水費の算出について

Utility charges are not based on the calendar month (1st to 30th/31st).
Instead, each utility company defines a "monthly period" based on its own

Meter Reading dates.

⚠ 光熱費の「○月分」は、カレンダー月（1日～月末）ではなく、各社の検針日を基準に1か月を区切って計算されます。


🧾 For example:
The “July " charge for daytime electricity may actually cover usage from Apr 22 to May 22  when the meter is read on May 22.  

例：従量電灯の「7月請求分」は、「4月22日〜5月22 日」の使用分となります。（検針日は5月22日）

In TIEC, electricity, water, and gas are contracted in bulk by JASSO.

Utility companies calculate your monthly utility fees based on your actual usage, and issues that invoice that includes:

-  A base charge (fixed monthly fee)

-  A usage-based fee (based on how much you used that month)

This is why your total amount may vary from month to month, even if you use similar appliances consistently. 


東京国際交流館の電気、水道、ガスはすべてJASSOによって一括契約されています。電気、水道、ガス会社は実際の使用量に基づき毎月の光熱水費を計算し以下を含んだ請求額を算出します。

― 基本料金（月額固定料金）

― 使用料（その月の使用量に基づく）

このため月々によって請求額が変動しますことを予めご了承ください。
