【Important! 】For information on extending your period of residence at TIEC, please contact the responsible person at your enrolling University or Institution. We would appreciate it if you can comprehend that TIEC administration office cannot provide information or make any commitments regarding extension applications. 

Maximum permitted period of residence is 1 year and can be extended annually. You can apply for extension 2 times, hence maximum period of residence can be 3 years.

To apply for permitted period of residence extension, apply for it at least two months before the expiration date of permitted period of residence at the responsible post of the university or research institute you belong to.  

 *When applying for the extension of residence period at the end of the academic year, application deadline will be notified to the university or research institution you belong to separately.

入居許可期間は最長1年で、1年ごとに入居期間を延長できます。2回延長ができますので、最長で3年TIECに居住することが可能となります。
入居期間の延長を希望される場合は入居許可期間最終日の2か月前までに所属する大学・研究機関の担当者までその旨お申し出ください。

日本人居住者の方はRAとなることを前提として入居が許可されておりますので、延長申請時点でRAでない場合入居期間延長の申請をすることができません。
